Patients are linked with a maternity unit upon setup where the clinicians are provided with a clinic environment linked to patient data collected by the patient through the app.
Hampton Home Blood Pressure Monitoring allows women to self-monitor their blood pressure at home. Home readings can provide a more frequent or accurate picture of a woman’s BP than intermittent Day Assessment Unit (DAU) or clinic readings. There is growing evidence for its role in pregnancy. The app is not intended to replace necessary clinical reviews and monitoring of proteinuria, maternal blood tests or fetal wellbeing but it has been developed to make it easier for patients to record their readings and for healthcare professionals to review their results.
The patient has the app for 12 months, allowing home monitoring during pregnancy and for a short period after giving birth.
